Round 2, Jaffas Mail
So here we go with round 2,
Blues,Swans, Demon, Eagles, Power, Saints, Crows, Richmond.
Blues V Bombers. Blues by 10-20
Not like the clashes of previous great eras this looks like being a games between sides 9-12. Without Lloyd the Bombers looked goalless last week and you would have to give Carlton the nod if you forgive their let down last week.
Kangaroos v Swans. Swans by 20-30 points
One of the top 3 sides for em this year, should have no real trouble with the roos if they want to make a 3rd prelim final at least this year. Hawthorn were no measure last week of how good the swans were but am suprem;y confident, especially if O'loughlin makes his season debut.
Bulldogs v Demons. Demons.
The bullies have had their chairty game for a while. Demons win this one easy ,end of stroy. Even though I think the demons are average compared to the top 5 sides.
Eagles v Cats. Eagles by 20
As much as I think that Geelong have improved greatly over the last 2 years, I think the Eagles at home and after their comeback in Adelaide will be too good.
Power V Lions . Power by 10
As much as the Power were pretty ordinary against Freo, the unveiling of their first ever AFL flag should lift their key players in Cornes, Tredrea, Primus, Francou to get the points.Lions without Charman and Brown and Black still might find this a big task.
Saints V Dockers . Saints by 30
Till someone can transfer Subiaco oval to Melb the Dockers still will struggle against decent sides. The saints weren't that bad last week and Gehrig should be more match fit and Hamill is in agressive mood.
Magpies V Crows. Crows by 25
After my mob giving up against the wooden spoon favs last week compared to Adelaide who gave their all aginst WEagles, I think Adeliaide have too many good players in form especially their tall players and Collingwood keep playing the 5 duds, they will keep on getting results like the Scud
Clash for Wooden Spoon. Richmond by 1- ?
Couldn't tip Hawthorn to beat a Gold coast reserves team after their hopeless effort last week. 10 of their players must have felt guilty if they accepted their pay this week. At least Richmond tried for a while against Cats and could do bit better this week.
Good luck

Jaffas Mail round 3
Hi folks, good to see the first games for the season out the road.
Picked 6 out of 8 thiss week with my side Pies diasgraceful against hopeless dogs who wouldn't win in QAFL games and Port whose big heads took Freo easy.
Nothing like a bit of controvery to start the year.
Riewoldt incident blown out of all proportions.
Outtens smart move from sinking ship to land of new hope Geelong.
Swans have plenty to look forward to.
Pies to finish 10th or worse. Need to sack 5 -- O'Bree, Shaw, Coles, Williams and Holland all 5 foot 10 who fall apart under pressure.
Be here Wed with this weeks picks.
